Hannah Martin
Senior Basketball
As president of the Student Council and German Club, section captain of the Marching Band and captain of the basketball team over the past two years, Trenton High School senior Hannah Martin has displayed leadership qualities in spades. A leader by example — as evidenced by her 3.89 grade-point average — Martin has filled her four years at Trenton to the brim with accolades. Whether it was helping guide the soccer team to league and district championships as a sophomore, a district championship as a junior or accomplishing the same feats with the basketball team, Martin has been impactful in every group that she’s been a part of. Also a member of the National Honor Society, German National Honor Society and Interact Club, Martin has to be considered as one of the most involved students in the school. Though she will not be continuing her athletic career at the collegiate level, she is looking to maintain the same high level of involvement after she graduates from Trenton. Currently considering Central Michigan University, Grand Valley State University and Saginaw Valley State University, Martin is eying a major in human resources — a decision she has come to through a drive to help others and based on her work in a nursing home facility. Her parents, Jerry and Kristie, share immense pride in all their daughter has and will accomplish.
